This subscription-based bibliographic database is produced by Elsevier Science and covers literature (periodicals, reports, conference proceedings, monographs, standards, books and patents) on all aspects of fluid engineering, fluids' behaviour and applications.
Access to the database (to subscribers) is via the ScienceDirect interface. Each FLUIDEX record contains the full bibliographic citation, indexing terms and codes; 97 percent of records contain an English language abstract.

GOCAD
gOcad (Geological Object Computer Aided Design) is a research programme which aims to develop a new computer-aided approach for the modelling of geological objects. This approach is particularly adapted to geophysical, geological and reservoir engineering applications. The gOcad consortium consists of over 20 companies and over 80 universities and has established its own research group. The gOcad website describes its work in seismic interpretation, structural and reservoir modelling, and oil and gas production. It includes a publications list (some available full-text), details of meetings, a list of consortium members, an image gallery and links to related sites.

Until December 2004 the full-text is available to all after which only users within institutions that subscribe to this journal can access the full-text. It is published by the Nanjing Institute of Geophysical Prospecting and the Institute of Physics.

The National Petroleum Technology Office is a field office of the U.S. Department of Energy. It is responsible for carrying out the National Petroleum Technology Programme, which is run in partnership with national laboratories, universities and industry.
